Sophia - Cornell University

Cornell University has always been on Sophia’s top 5 list of colleges. While in high school Sophia was a competitive swimmer and established an outstanding academic record. A strong dedication to volunteering in her community was also a consistent activity. An appreciation for nature and excelling in science courses caused her to focus on a career in the sciences. These activities and a supportive network allowed Sophia to be awarded scholarship offers and ultimately end up at Cornell University preparing for a future as a scientist.
